Pack falls short at Colorado Christian Invitational

DENVER, Colo.-( 11, 2011)-  Having to look over their shoulders all day, CSU-Pueblo men's golf team managed to hold on to third place in the Colorado Christian Fall Invitational/RMAC#3.

Holding a short lead going into the final rounds at Raccoon Golf Course, Denver, Colo., the ThunderWolves were unable to hold off nationally ranked RMAC foes Colorado Mines and UC-Colorado Spring to secure a fall Invitiational win.

James Berry, (Jr., Traverse City, Mich.) completed his fall season finishing again with a top 10 placing.  He completed his 36 holes with a score of 214 or 2-under-par for the tournament and a share of ninth place.

Two other ThunderWolves were able to finish their rounds under-par and place in the top 20.  Bryan Kruse, (Sr., Westminster, Colo.) signed in at 1-under par and tied for 12th.  Teammate Sean Thomas (Sr., Arvada, Colo.) played his 36 holes dead even and sole possession of 10th.

Jonathan Park (So., Denver,Colo.) was able to end his fall with a top 20 finish.  His totals secured him a tie for 18th.

The men's team will return to action in 2012 for the spring portion of the RMAC season.
