Anderson recognized as CoSIDA Academic All-District

CoSIDA RELEASE

PUEBLO, Colo. (March 19, 2018) - Jason Anderson (R-So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) was recognized as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District this season for his efforts on the hardwood and in the classroom.

The center owns a 3.88 GPA in business management.

ANDERSON BIO

All-RMAC Second Team ... RMAC Offensive Player of the Week (Dec. 18) following his debut weekend where he averaged 26.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game and shot 76.7 percent from the field  ... Played in 18 games ... Led the team in rebounds per game with 6.6 (118 rebounds was third on the team) ... Averaged 14.5 points per game for the second most on the squad ... Blocked 25 shots to rank second on the team ... Shot the ball at an even 50 percent from the field ... Averaged 24.3 minutes per game ... Totaled seven or more rebounds in 11 games ... Surpassed 20 points in a game on five occasions, which included 36 points against Western State (Dec. 16) ... Recorded a double-double in his first game with the Pack, a 16-point, 10-rebound performance at Colorado Mesa (Dec. 15) ... CoSIDA Academic All-District ... RMAC Academic Player of the Year ... Academic All-RMAC First Team.
