PUEBLO, Colo. (February 26, 2017) - Both the Colorado State University-Pueblo basketball programs will host the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout Quarterfinals, Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. The women claimed the RMAC Regular Season Championship to earn the No. 1 seed, while the men finished as the No. 3 seed.
The Pack women finished the conference season with a program record 20-2 mark for the team's second regular season title all-time. CSU-Pueblo will host No. 8 seed South Dakota School of Mines at 5:30 p.m. in its 15th straight appearance in the posteason tournament.
The men's squad is hosting the first round for the second time in the last three years and third time overall after a record for conference wins in a 17-5 season. The appearance is the fifth straight under sixth-year head coach Ralph Turner. The Pack will host No. 6 seed Colorado Christian University at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Massari Arena Ticket Office. Ticket prices are as follows:
Adults (Ages 23 and Up): $8.00
Seniors (Ages 65 and Up): $4.00
Students (w/ valid I.D.): $4.00
Children (Ages 6-12): $4.00
Children 5 & Under: Free
The first 300 CSU-Pueblo students (with ID) will be admitted for free.
As the top seed, if the women's team wins Tuesday the Pack will host the RMAC Shootout Semifinals and Final March 3-4.
