Season opens Friday at Al Kaly Classic, food drive planned

Pack men to host York College, Oklahoma Panhandle State in season-opening tournament.


PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Nov. 17, 2010) - The CSU-Pueblo men's basketball team will open up its season on Friday, Nov. 19 when it entertains York College (Neb.) in the 26th Annual Al Kaly Classic, sponsored by the Al Kaly Shriners of Southern Colorado.  The Pack's game tips off at approximately 7 p.m.

In the Classic, the ThunderWolves welcome York, Saturday night's opponent, Oklahoma Panhandle State, and conference foe, Mesa State, to Massari Arena for two games each day, starting at 5 p.m.  The ThunderWolves' games will begin at approximately 7 p.m.

Additionally, the CSU-Pueblo basketball programs are asking all fans to bring a canned food or other non-perishable food item during the weekend.  All donations received will go straight to benefit the Care and Share of Pueblo. 

Also, any fan that brings one non-perishable food item to the game will receive half-priced general admission to the games.  Fans who bring at least five items will receive a free general admission ticket.
