Payer recognized as RMAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 27, 2017) - Junior Brandon Payer (Pine, Colo.) has been named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason Defensive Player of the Year in a release from the league office Thursday. The preseason coaches' poll and preseason All-RMAC teams will be announced Monday at the RMAC Football Kickoff.

The ThunderWolves open the 2017 season hosting fellow RMAC Champions Colorado School of Mines Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.

The RMAC Kickoff is slated for Monday, July 31st at the Colorado Springs Marriott Hotel.

Don Hansen All-Region Third Team ... All-RMAC First Team Defense ... NFFCC All-Colorado First Team Defense ...
