PUEBLO, Colo. (August 1, 2018) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Baseball will host a pair of camps this fall at Rawlings Field. The ThunderWolves will introduce their Play the Pack Way Camp Sunday Sept. 16. There will also be a Prospect Camp Sunday Oct. 21.
CSU-Pueblo's Play the Pack Way Camp will be available for all campers from ages 8-18. This camp will run from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and costs $50 for individuals or $40 for groups or teams of five or more. Registration for this camp will only be available on the day of the camp at Rawlings Field from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m.
Campers will receive instruction from 8 a.m. -11 a.m. before breaking for lunch, which will be included. After lunch, campers will get to watch the Pack Baseball team scrimmage.
The Prospect Camp begins at 9 a.m. and is open to all high school students. This camp will be a pro-style showcase, followed by a scrimmage. Pack Baseball has signed players out of this camp every year it has held it.
The ThunderWolves Prospect Camp costs $75 for individuals or $60 for groups or teams of five or more. Interested campers can register online only.
Pack head Coach Stan Sanchez will lead both camps. Sanchez holds the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's wins record with 836 career victories at CSU-Pueblo. He will begin his 25th season at the helm of the Pack.
Joining Sanchez will be Pack Assistant Coaches Eddie Williams, Brian Falsetto, Mike Massaro, Joe Romero, and Mike Sanchez. Pack baseball student-athletes will also be on-hand to give campers advice.
