Pack Baseball to host open tryouts Sept. 7

PUEBLO, Colo. (August 29, 2017) Colorado State University-Pueblo students will have the rare opportunity to earn their way onto the CSU-Pueblo baseball team, when Pack Baseball holds open tryouts Thursday Sept. 7 at 7 a.m.

In order to tryout, a person must be a full-time student at CSU-Pueblo with athletic eligibility. Students must also be in good academic standing at CSU-Pueblo.

Head Coach Stan Sanchez and his staff will host the tryout. They will evaluate the aspiring student-athletes and give opportunities to those who could play D-II baseball. Sanchez ranks as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's all-time wins leader with 807 victories at CSU-Pueblo.
