The right-handed pitcher ranked second among RMAC starters with a 2.61 ERA after the regular season. He boasted a 1.15 WHIP for the Pack during the regular season. Lazcano also owns a 6-1 record for the Pack.
Three times during the season, the RMAC tabbed Lazcano as it's RMAC Pitcher of the Week. The three Pitcher of the Week awards tied Lazcano for the most in the conference.
Lazcano set a career-high with 13 strikeouts in a complete game shutout against Adams State University, April 7. He held the Grizzlies to just four hits and did not issue a walk. This performance earned Lazcano Pitcher of the Week honors from both the RMAC and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's South Central Region.
Lazcano becomes the first Pack pitcher to receive First Team All-RMAC since 2015 when Zac Wittmus took home first team honors. His 97 strikeouts are the most by a Pack pitcher since 2001.
