Nebraska-Kearney 6, CSU-Pueblo 5 (game postponed due to rain)

KEARNEY, Neb. - CSU-Pueblo's nine-inning affair with Nebraska-Kearney Saturday was called due to rain in the eighth inning as the Pack trailed 6-5.  The game will be continued tomorrow at noon, as will the remaining game of the three-game series.

The ThunderWolves held a 5-4 lead going into the bottom of the 7th inning, but gave up two runs to the Lopers and falling behind 6-5.

CSU-Pueblo got a strong effort from starting pitcher Matt Cole (Jr., Walnut, Calif.), who pitched 4-1/3 innings, allowing four runs on six hits.  Cole was in line for the win before Nebraska-Kearney came back and took the lead.
