The 8th annual State Farm Insurance ThunderWolves Golf Classic benefits the Colorado State University-Pueblo student-athlete scholarship fund.

Currently, the CSU-Pueblo athletics department, with more than 400 student-athletes competing in 16 varsity sports, provides the equivalent of 90 in-state scholarships, thanks mostly to private donations.

Through events like the State Farm Insurance ThuderWolves Golf Classic, the CSU-Pueblo athletics department hopes to increase the amount of scholarships to 122.  With these increases, CSU-Pueblo coaches will be able to recruit not only better athletes, but better students and citizens as well.
