PUEBLO, Colo. (May 17, 2018) - Three Colorado State University-Pueblo student-athletes were selected to the Google Cloud NCAA Division II Academic All-District® 6 Men's At-Large Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing field and in the classroom.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with Google Cloud Academic All-America® teams announced in June.
The ThunderWolves totaled three selections to the 10 student-athletes on the District 6 team, which is made up of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Heartland Conference and the Lone Star Conference. The three award winners tied for the most of any school from all eight districts in Division II.
From the men's lacrosse program, Preston DeHerrera (Sr., Northglenn, Colo.) and Anthony Ferrie (Jr., Littleton, Colo.) were honored, while David Mould (Sr., Upminster Essex, United Kingdom) of the men's tennis team was recognized as All-Distrtict for the second straight year. DeHerrera owns a 3.89 GPA in business management and business administration, Ferrie touts a 3.70 GPA in engineering and Mould has a 3.95 GPA in economics (finance) and business administration.

The defenseman earned Academic All-RMAC honors in each of the last three seasons and was named First Team Academic WILA as a freshman ... In 2018, DeHerrera led the Pack with 19 caused turnovers ... His 1.36 caused turnovers per game during the regular season ranked fourth in the RMAC ... Snagged 32 ground balls ... He graduates with a school record 47 career caused turnovers ... DeHerrera's 127 ground balls stand as the second-most in program history.
2018 Academic All-District ... Earned his second consecutive Honorable Mention All-RMAC nod ... Earned that distinction last year as a defenseman and amazingly collected Honorable Mention All-RMAC in his first season at attack ... This season, Ferrie had 32 goals and 18 assists ... His 50 points are the fourth-highest total in program history ... Ferrie ranked fifth in the RMAC and 38th nationally with 3.50 points per game during the regular season ... His 1.29 assists also placed him fifth in the conference ... Ferrie's 2.21 goals per game were sixth-most in the conference during the regular season.

Mould has been hampered with injuries this season, but finished with a 4-7 singles record (1-2 in RMAC) in dual competition and gathered an 11-13 doubles record (3-2 in RMAC). Playing with Thomas Pudney, the team had a 7-7 record (4-7 at No. 1 and 3-0 at No. 2) and was ranked No. 49 in the April 11 ITA national rankings ... Two of his other doubles victories came in RMAC play with Cade Boedeker, who he partnered with the gather All-RMAC Doubles honors.
